Rep. Barnhart speaking at Forum for Oregon's Small Businesses
How are the health care reforms coming along? Can you expect your insurance costs to stop going up? Will the general health of our citizens improve in the coming years? Will health care costs be a smaller drag on family and business budgets in the future?
Come to the Health Care Town Hall and find out how close we are to positive answers to those questions and more. The leaders of the work, Dr. Bruce Goldberg and Rocky King will be there to present and answer your questions. Bring your comments and concerns too. This is an enormous process with great reward for our families and economy, but there will be bumps along the way.
See you at Sacred Heart University District, at 6:30 PM Tuesday July 17 (Tomorrow) and don't forget the Partnerships in Education Town Hall next week!
Grab a cup of coffee (no host) and share your thoughts and questions with Rep. Barnhart

Please join Rep. Phil Barnhart for a town hall on Partnerships in Education. The effects of the Great Recession have reminded us how important quality public schools are to Oregon’s future and the futures of our children. Community organizations have partnered with our schools to create meaningful programs that help students stay in school, get motivated, and expand their skills and interests. Rep. Phil Barnhart invites you to a town hall on July 24th to discuss educational partnerships and further options for strengthening Oregon’s public schools, including:
- Reducing class size.
- Protecting vocational training, music and arts classes.
- Ensuring a full school year.

Brad Avakian, Commissioner, Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI)
Kristin Gunson, Career Technical Regional Coordinator, Lane Education Service District
