                          AMENDMENTS TO
                   A-ENGROSSED HOUSE BILL 2010

Speaker Snodgrass:
  A minority of your Committee on Judiciary - Criminal Law, to
whom was referred A-engrossed House Bill 2010, having had the
same under consideration, respectfully reports it back with the
recommendation that it do pass with the following amendments:

  On page 1 of the printed A-engrossed bill, delete lines 5
through 28 and delete page 2 and insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 2. + }  { + (1) A pharmacist may not refuse to
fill a prescription for a drug that has been approved for
prescription use by the United States Food and Drug
Administration.
  ' (2) Issues arising from the conscientious objection of a
pharmacist to filling a particular type of prescription shall be
addressed between the pharmacist and the employer of the
pharmacist in the course of the employment relationship. + } ' .
