NOTES OF DECISIONS

 

      If there are multiple claims, motion for directed verdict that is general and does not address each claim separately should be denied if there is sufficient evidence to go to jury on any claim. Johnson v. Ranes, 67 Or App 667, 680 P2d 688 (1984)

 

      Where defendants’ motion for directed verdict brought to court’s attention issue on which trial court granted motion, rule was satisfied. Sieverson v. Allied Stores Corp., 97 Or App 315, 776 P2d 38 (1989), Sup Ct review denied

 

      Appellate review standard differs depending on whether motion is granted or denied. Cole v. Ford Motor Co., 136 Or App 45, 900 P2d 1059 (1995)
