I am a proud third generation Oregonian, and I was born right here in Salem, OR.
I started my early years in Salem, then moved to the more rural portion of the state, where I graduated from Pendleton High School…Let 'Er Buck!
I recently lived in Stayton, but I currently live in the South Salem area.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Steve, for 27 years. Together we have a son, Reece, and a daughter, Reilly. Both are students at a Christian college in the mid-west where Reece plays football and is studying sports management, and Reilly plays volleyball and is studying accounting. Being a mother is the most important and precious job I have and will ever have.
First and foremost, I proudly serve my community as State Representative for House District 19. I also own my own business and do consulting work as a grant writer. I work on grants for school districts, universities, and non-profits. My professional background includes positions as a business manager, loan officer, communications and marketing specialist, and competitive grant writer.
After graduating from Pendleton High School, I received my Associate Degree from Chemeketa Community College, and then worked toward my Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Marylhurst University.
