House Democratic Majority Office Announces
Recent Staff Changes
Amelia Porterfield named Legislative Director,
Katie Shriver is Member Services Coordinator
SALEM – The House Democratic Majority Office today announced recent changes to Caucus staff as the Legislature prepares for the February Special Session. Amelia Porterfield was named Legislative Director and Katie Shriver was named Member Services Coordinator.
Porterfield previously served as Member Services Director in the House Majority Office, and most recently led outreach to elected officials for Vote Yes for Oregon. She replaces Laura Terrill Patten, who took a position with Portland State University.
Shriver comes to the House Majority Office from the Oregon Community Foundation where she coordinated the foundation’s research activities. Her prior experience includes serving as a Legislative Aide for then-Representative Ted Strickland (D-OH), who is now Governor of Ohio.
