During today’s House Floor session, Reps. John Huffman (R-The Dalles), Mike Schaufler (D-Happy Valley) and Jim Thompson (R-Dallas) give an example of how state bureaucracy stifles job creation in Oregon.  In this clip , the Representatives discuss the four feet of paperwork that is required to build a wind farm in Oregon, while the required paperwork in Washington State can fit in a single envelope. They question whether Oregon state agencies are truly a partner when it comes to creating jobs for Oregonians.
