Meet My Staff


​​ Diana Naranjo (she/ella) is currenly working in my Office as our Legislative and Engagement Manager​. Diana attended Linfield University where she earned her Bachelor's degree studying Political Science and Philosophy with a concentration in Political theory. Born and raised in Salem, Oregon Diana is passionate about voting rights, soci​al justice reform and environmental justice. In her free time, Diana loves to read, travel, spend time with her family, and stay active. 


​​ ​Diana is looking to center the Incan communal values and principles of Munay (love) in her legislative work.  Legislative work can often be meticulous and taxing, but she believes by loving the work we do, and the people we do it for, we can continue to create change and uplift unheard voices.​

​​ Maggie Thompson (she/her) is currently working in my Office as the Communications and Consitutent Services Manager. Born and raised in W​ashington and New Mexico, Maggie graduated from the University of Oregon in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Physics. As a student, she developed a passion for education accessibility and comm​​unity building through her science communication experience at Pine Mountain Observatory. 


Maggie is aiming to center the Incan communal values and principles of Llank'ay (work) in her legislative work. She believes that, by working for the Oregon Legislature, she has a responsibility to work with care, dedication, and efficiency to serve those who live in HD 47, as the laws passed have the capacity to affect everyone.

Kasandra Orozco (she/her) is currently working in my office as a Legislative Intern. Kasandra will be soon graduating from Portland State University where she will earn her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish. As a student and a daughter of immigrant parents, she developed a passion for social justice reform and immigration policy. 

Kasandra is planning to use Llank'ay (work) to center in on her legislative work. She believes that centering this particular Ican communal value and principle she will be able to create honest and efficient work, as well as transparency to those who reside on HD 47.​
