Hello Friends and Neighbors, 

It is my privilege and honor to represent the people of Senate District 17 in the Oregon State Legislature. My district covers West Portland, Cathedral Park, Forest Park, North Beaverton, and East Hillsboro, and much of unincorporated Washington County inbetween. Our district is one of the most diverse and economically vibrant places in the state.

As a pediatrician with two decades of experience serving patients on the frontline, the health and wellbeing of our families and communities guides every decision I make in Salem. I am proud to serve as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Early Childhood and Behavioral Health, where we focus on upstream solutions and prevention for some of our state's toughest challenges and our state's most vulnerable residents - our younge kids. I also serve on the Senate Committee on Health Care and the Senate Committee on Human Services.
