The Child Care Caucus is a coalition of legislators, community groups, labor unions, households, and enterprises meeting regularly to improve child care accessibility across Oregon. Convened in previous years under different structures, the caucus has been reignited in the 2025 legislative session.
Representative Jules Walters
Jules Waters represents House District 37, including Tualatin and West Linn. In addition to serving as a Co-Chair of the Child Care Caucus, she serves as Vice-Chair of the House Committee on Revenue, as well as Co-Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Tax Expenditures. As a mother of four, her own experiences navigating child care barriers have only strengthened her resolve to break down those obstacles for others.
