​Welcome to my Legislative Website.

It is my honor to serve the people of House District 33, which encompasses Northwest and Downtown Portland, Linnton, and Cathedral Park. I, like many of you, value our proximity to the city and Forest Park in this district and my aim is to serve you with integrity, courage and compassion.

I am humbled to have been appointed to serve as the Chair of the House Committee on Housing and Homelessness for the 2023​ session. I also serve on the House Committee on Behavioral Health and Health Care, an​d the House Committee on Emergency Management, ​General Government and Veterans​​. It is my goal to make the legislative process accessible to all, and to ensure the voice of Oregonians is being heard throughout this process. Here are some of the many ways to do that:

• Familiarize yourself with the process of how a bill becomes a law, 

• Consider testifying on bills as they move through the building. 

• Stay informed about issues important to you, by following bills and getting vote information. 

• Subscribe to our mailing list by adding your email in the upper righthand corner of this page. 

• Encourage a young person, age 12-18, to participate in the legislature’s honorary page program. 

• Subscribe to my newsletter, and attend one of my constituent coffee events.
