Dear Neighbors and Friends,
Welcome to my legislative website. I am proud to represent my constituents in House District 19, which includes South Salem, from the Capitol to the city limits.
I am very excited and prepared to be working in the State House for the people of Salem. I served on Salem City Council for eight years; working collaboratively to address issues of housing and homelessness in Salem, climate change, infrastructure, and public safety. Now, I've taken that work to the legislature so that I can address some of these same issues on a larger scale.
I currently serve as the Vice Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, and I am a member of the House Climate, Energy, and Environmental Committee, and the Early Childhood & Human Services Committee. On these committees, I look forward to tackling the issues we know Oregonians care about most, like addressing homelessness, tackling the climate crisis, supporting working families, improving addiction support, and making our communities safer.
I was first elected during the 2022 elections. During my first campaign in the Primary and then again in the General, I knocked on thousands of doors and spoke with hundreds of people who live and work in Salem. I heard about the concerns, hopes, and frustrations of those who live here. I believe that our government is at its best when members of the community are engaged with their government and I have always been at my best when I'm engaged with my community. I am committed to you and as your state representative, I will be available, responsive, and will maintain my connection and presence in the community to understand your needs.
To stay up to date about what is happening in state government, you can subscribe to my e-newsletter at the right side of this webpage. I hope you'll reach out to my office to share your perspective on the issues facing our community. Connect with me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone in my capitol office at 503-986-1419. I look forward to hearing from you.
Together, we can move Oregon forward.
