A whimsical aerial tour of the Oregon Capitol building from the inside and out, the Capitol grounds, and a grand finale of the Oregon Pioneer.

The Oregon's Capitol video documents the history of the current Oregon State Capitol, including architectural details, Works Progress Administration (WPA) art, Senate and House Chambers and Governor's ceremonial office.

The Oregon Pioneer video documents the origin and history of the Golden Pioneer statue that stands on top of the Oregon State Capitol.

  

Citizen's Guide to the Legislative Process

 


Video of the 2013 Citizen’s Guide to the Legislature workshop. The Citizen’s Guide Workshop was taped on February 18, 2013 and is approximately two hours long. The first hour includes a panel of legislators discussing the legislative process and answering questions from audience members. The second hour of the Workshop is focused on a presentation from Oregon State Library staff and describes how to research legislation.
