The Office of the Legislative Counsel (LC) is a permanent, nonpartisan legislative service agency. It provides legal and publication services to the members, committees and staff of the Legislative Assembly.
LC drafts all legislative measures and amendments to measures considered by the Legislative Assembly; renders legal opinions and provides informal legal advice to members, committees and staff; publishes the
Oregon Revised Statutes and other
legal publications; reviews all
administrative rules adopted by executive branch agencies for constitutionality and legal sufficiency; and performs other legal services as directed by the Legislative Assembly.

2013 Oregon Revised Statutes and 2014 Oregon Laws Supplement — the official edition of Oregon’s statutes. As part of the ORS set, subscribers will receive an even-year supplement of laws enacted during the February 2014 regular session and the Annotations 2014 Cumulative Supplement.
2010-2011-2012 Oregon Laws consists of three hardbound volumes that contain the official version of all bills enacted by the 75th Legislative Assembly at its Special Session held February 1 through February 25, 2010, all bills enacted by the 76th Legislative Assembly at its Regular Session held February 1 through June 30, 2011, all bills enacted by the 76th Legislative Assembly at its Regular Session held February 1 through March 5, 2012, and the amendments to Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure (ORCP) promulgated by the Council on Court Procedures on December 11, 2010. This publication includes legislative resolutions considered to be of public interest. It also includes subject indexes, bill-to-chapter tables and tables of ORS sections amended, repealed or “added to” for the special session and regular sessions. Oregon Laws 2010-2011-2012 includes laws that are temporary in nature and will not be compiled in the Oregon Revised Statutes.
