Planning Your Event

Choose a day and time for your event. Choose an alternate date in case your first choice is not available. Decide if you prefer a conference room, hearing room, the Galleria, front steps or other available space. Estimate how many people you expect to attend your event and decide if you will serve beverages or food. If reserving the Galleria, estimate how many chairs and tables you will need. Decide on the length of your event and the set-up and take-down time needed.

Building Use Policy

Review the Building Use Policies and Guidelines for the Capitol building prior to your event. You may also request a copy from the Capitol Building Use Coordinator at 503-986-1384. For the most part, users of the Capitol space may not charge admission or deny access to citizens who want to attend the event.
