Welcome to my Legislative Website
It is my honor to represent House District 8 in the Oregon House of Representatives. Our district includes Central and South Eugene, from the Willamette River to Spencer Butte, plus part of the beautiful Crow-Applegate-Lorane Valley. I've called Eugene home for over 30 years, and like many of you, have seen it grow and change in that time. I'll work hard to ensure our community continues to be a great place to live, work, play, learn, and raise a family for everyone.
As a long time educator in both K-12 and Higher Education, and as an community advocate for affordable housing, I am dedicated to finding solutions for stable and affordable housing, strengthening both our K-12 and Higher Education systems, and ensuring our community is a place where working families can thrive. I'm also committed to ensuring that all Oregonians have access to the critical healthcare they need and to protecting our environment and natural resources for future generations.
In the House of Representatives, I am honored to have been appointed to serve on the House Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee, the Labor and Workplace Standards Committee, and the Housing and Homelessness Committee. I will also serve as the Vice-Chair on the House Higher Education Committee. You can learn more about these committees and the work we do by clicking on the links provided.

Learn more about legislative committees or bills that have been introduced, by using the Oregon Legislative Information System (OLIS) website. On OLIS you can search by bill number or text and you can sign up for email updates on a specific bill or committee. You can also submit testimony and share your perspective on bills that happen in the session.
