Welcome! It is my great honor and privilege to represent House District 45 (Including NE and SE Portland, Maywood Park, Parkrose, Argay Terrace, Montavilla, and Cully) as your State Representative. My family and I came to this country as refugees from Vietnam when I was a young child. It was growing up in a low-income household where I saw why it is critical to support families to ensure they succeed. Through hard work and community investments, I was able to earn a doctoral degree in Optometry and open my own business serving the residents of the Hollywood neighborhood. In the past, I have served on the Parkrose School Board and am currently actively serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Oregon Air National Guard as well as on the board of Metropolitan Public Defenders and a Lions Club member.
