​Displacement Prevention Assistance Workgroup 2022-2023

The COVID-19 pandemic created economic hardship for landlords, tenants, and people experiencing housing insecurity. While the legislature was able to invest hundreds of millions of dollars into rental assistance for tenants and landlords at risk of being unable to pay rent or mortgages, evictions continue to increase across Oregon. The Displacement Prevention Assistance (DPA) workgroup addresses evictions and displacement throughout the state to provide necessary assistanc to keep individuals and families housed, in their communities, and youth in their schools.
