I am honored to be serving as the Senator for District 25, including Gresham, Fairview, Troutdale and Wood Village.
Even though we're facing many challenges, I know that by working together we can continue to strengthen our community and all of Oregon.
I will use my experience as an educator and former police officer to make sure that the legislature works to respect tax payers' money, improve our economy and strengthen our schools and communities.
I'm proud to serve on the Joint Transportation Committee, Co-Chair the Public Safety subcommittee of Ways and Means, Senate Education and the full Joint Committee on Ways and Means. In addition to my committee assignments I'm a Co-Chair of the bicameral Wildlife and Rail Caucuses. I also serve on the Oregon Hanford Cleanup Board and the Oregon School Safety Taskforce as part of my overall focus on individual and environmental safety.
For the past six years I've worked with the Innocence Project and the Northwestern School of Law's Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth to reform youth justice. I look forward to using my positions on these committees, caucuses and boards to improve and protect the communities in our district.
My district office number is 971-231-4466. My staff and I would love to hear from you, we are here to address any concerns you might have. Please do not hesitate to call or write.
