Biography​

I am a father, husband, educator, and lifelong Oregonian. I grew up in Ashland and attended Ashland High School, then earned a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Winchester in England and a Master of Education degree from Portland State University. 

I have been teaching in public schools around East Multnomah County since 2005, including Corbett High School, Reynolds High School, Gresham High School and Mt. Hood Community College. Right now, I teach special education at local schools while the legislature is not in session. 

Before being elected to the legislature, I served on the Troutdale City Council, Troutdale Budget Committee and Troutdale Citizens Advisory Committee.

Soy padre, esposo, educador y un orgulloso oregonense de toda la vida. Crecí en Ashland y asistí a la preparatoria Ashland High School. Obtuve una licenciatura y una maestría en la Universidad de Winchester en Inglaterra, además de una Maestría en Educación de la Universidad Estatal de Portland.

He estado enseñando en escuelas públicas del este del Condado de Multnomah desde 2005, incluyendo Corbett High School, Reynolds High School, Gresham High School y Mt. Hood Community College. Actualmente, enseño educación especial en escuelas locales cuando la legislatura no está en sesión.

Antes de ser elegido para la legislatura, fui miembro del Consejo de la Ciudad de Troutdale, del Comité de Presupuesto de Troutdale y del Comité Asesor de Ciudadanos de Troutdale.
