Hello, and welcome to my legislative website!
It is my honor to represent House District 26 in the Oregon House of Representatives. Our district includes Wilsonville, King City, Sherwood, Parrett Mountain, and parts of Tigard. I like to describe our district as where the farmland and the suburbs come together. We are a district that is growing and changing rapidly, which requires planning, innovation, strategy, and good communication among elected officials and our community members.
As an educator and a mother of school-aged children, I am dedicated to strengthening our schools and investments in early education, finding solutions for stable and affordable housing, expanding access to affordable and high-quality healthcare, promoting public safety and violence prevention, protecting our environment for generations to come, supporting working families, and fighting for a future for our communities to thrive. I continue to work on many local issues, and your input throughout the process is essential. From the Sherwood Pedestrian Bridge and the seismic improvements needed on the I-5 Boone Bridge, to investing in broadband, childcare, housing, and school safety, I am committed to addressing the issues impacting our lives.
In the House of Representatives, I am honored to have been appointed to serve as the Chair of the House Education Committee, House Committee on Early Childhood and Human Services, and the House Committee on Gambling Regulation. You can learn more about these committees and the work we do by clicking on the hyperlinks provided.
We know that recovering from the pandemic and economic downturn continues to be a serious challenge for many people in our community. I am committed to doing everything in my power to fuel a robust economic recovery effort in partnership with the people of House District 26.
