It is my honor to serve the people of House District 33, which encompasses Northwest Portland and Northeast Washington county - from the city to the sunset. I, like many of you, value our proximity to the city and Forest Park in this district and my aim is to serve you with integrity, courage and compassion.I am humbled to have been appointed to serve as the Chair of the House Healthcare Subcommittee on COVID-19 for the 2021 session. It is my goal to make the legislative process accessible to all, and to ensure the voice of Oregonians is being heard throughout this process. Here are some of the many ways to do that:
Familiarize yourself with the process of how a bill becomes a law,
Consider testifying on bills as they move through the building.
Stay informed about issues important to you, by following bills and getting vote information.

Encourage a young person, age 12-18, to participate in the legislature’s honorary page program.
