The Legislative Policy and Research Office’s (LPRO’s) Language Access Team provides American Sign Language and spoken language interpretation, translation, and live captioning services.

Civil Rights Unit, Oregon Department of Justice 

The Civil Rights Unit (CRU) runs a statewide Hate Crimes and Bias Incidents Repsonse Hotline deciated to supporting victims and witnesses targeted with hate or bias based on their protected class. The CRU also runs the Sanctuary Promise program and hotline, which investigates Oregon's sanctuary laws and supports victims and families targed with law violations.

Oregon State Bar

The Oregon State Bar (OSB) ​provides a variety of programs designed to assist individuals with accessing legal support (link). Programs available to the public include a lawyer referral service; a modest means program; a ​free legal answers program; military assistance; and a problem solvers program that offers free advice to children, ages 13-17. ​OSB also maintains a library of legal topics (link), available online. 

Oregon Law Help

Oregon Law Help is ​a joint project between the Oregon State Bar, Oregon's state court system, legal aid organizations, and other nonprofit legal providers in Oregon for the purpose of helping people navigate the legal system by providing people with online legal information and help. ​Please navigate to the website (link) to learn more about the informational library, legal help, and community resources. ​
