After Oregon’s legislative sessions conclude, LPRO prepares Summaries of Legislation. These reports and briefs provide an overview of the measures—bills, resolutions, and memorials—that lawmakers considered, along with the policy discussions that shaped them.
Legislative Summary Reports, prepared for both short and long legislative sessions, summarize measures that received a public hearing in policy committees. Summary Reports are organized by policy area and indicate whether a measure was enacted.
Legislative Session Briefs, released after each long session, summarize changes to Oregon’s policy landscape based on the measures considered during the session. Session Briefs provide background information, legislative history, and current law, and refer to agencies and programs when applicable.
